Government defends right to
homeopathy
on the NHS
The government has strongly rejected demands by MPs for the
funding of homeopathy on the NHS to be withdrawn, claiming it
would fly in the face of patient choice and local
decision-making...
'Homeopathy has a long tradition in Europe and
is a recognised and widely used system of medicine across the EU,
' it said.
The governments decision is a victory for liberty and democracy in
this country and a slap in the face for those who would seek to
thwart the rights of GPs to send patients to use homeopathic
medicine.

used safely alongside in fact it maybe the only medicine that
can be used as others may interact.

This is difficult as
everyone is different, in their response; the length of time you
have suffered also has a big impact, however once on the
correct remedies, improvement should be fairly rapid. I usual
give my patients, an idea of length of treatment.

MY TRAINING
I studied for 3 years at the College of
Practical Homeopathy now in Birmingham.
This included 120 hours of clinic time and
also reports from 2 other homeopaths on my abilities in a
clinical setting.
I had to complete 10 cases from start to
finish with real patients to gain my qualification.
I was also vetted on these same cases for
my interview with the Homeopathic Medical Association, my
professional body.
By belonging to this body it means I am
registered and insured and bound by a code of ethics.
